Annual General Meeting
From SecularPortal
An Annual General Meeting (AGM) is the yearly meeting in which a society gathers together for bureaucratic purposes including reviewing the societies' activities over the past year, amending the constitution and electing new committee members.
The way your AGM must be run will be (or at least should be) defined in your constitution. Generally you must give notice of an AGM and publish an agenda a set period of time before the meeting itself. There will often be a quorum to meet (number of members for it to count as an official AGM). Many Universities require societies to hold AGMs.
